In the opening lecture of organization transformation in practice, I obtained the previous experience to be a group leader and know more about myself and social relationship. As it was designed in the course, we first discussed our understanding of the leadership and organization. Then we used various ways to analyse the successful cases of leadership, like reading https://www.51lunwen.org/mbaessay/  the related articles, watching videos, research data brought by group members. After learning those cases, we know more clearly what kind of measures are helpful and what kind of measures are not advocated. At last, group members had put forward their suggestions to the group leader about his performance.
At the beginning of the class, I had not realized its importance. After the communication with my group members, I gradually know how to be a good leader and make it more efficient. When I was the leader, I prefer the group members to be more autonomous. Most time I would like to listen to their options quietly and make the final summary. But after several communications, I realized it was not very efficient and they needed me to guide the general direction skills. They also put forward the similar suggestions in my feedback. So I adjusted my leadership style in the following discussion. After the experience of a leader in the group, I am glad to see my grow in my realization of the seven element, including leadership behaviours, skills, belief systems, values, identity, vision and purpose (Krantz, J. and Maltz, M., 1997), which I will introduce in detail in the following parts. According to Gibbs (1988), reflective cycle is fairly straightforward and encourages a clear description of the situation, analysis of feelings, evaluation of the experience, analysis to make sense of the experience, conclusion where other options are considered and reflection upon experience to examine what you would do if the situation arose again. So this article will follow the reflective cycle.
