摘要:文章主要介绍了评估工作经验的作为发展的重要方式的重要性。本文主要讲述了毕业时毕业后找工作,每个公司对员工要求都很高,因此,毕业生必须有一定的工作经验,这才是走向事业成功的第一步。
毕业的那天,也是学生们通过四年的努力学习最终收获自己成果的一天。当他们拿着自己的文凭和毕业证书在想象和规划自己的未来时,同时,他们也在思考他们为实现自己的目标而长期奋斗的历程也即将结束。
但是,一旦当毕业生开始申请一份全职工作,他们的这种感觉就会开始消失,他们就会慢慢开始意识到毕业才是他们为成功的职业生涯长期奋斗的第一步。这是每一个毕业于不同领域的毕业生所存在的焦虑,就像从持有学士学位到计算机科学学士学位或法律专业等的毕业生。当这些毕业时刚开始进入他们的实习领域时,他们所学到的第一件事就是这个社会的确是适者生存。现在,一些公司要求员工要有良好的沟通技巧,还有一些公司还要求员工要有良好的经营能力,甚至还有一些公司需要员工具有精细的组织能力。因此,在每一家公司不同部门招聘的员工都需要不同的素质及能力。
Graduation, the day when students finally get the result of their 4 years long hard work. As they hold their degrees to pose for pictures and thinking that this is the end to their long struggle of achieving their goals.
This feeling evaporates as soon as they start applying for a full time job and realize that Graduation is just the first step to their long struggle of making a successful career. This is the turmoil of every graduate from varying fields from BBA graduates to BSC or BCS holders or law graduates etc. The first thing these graduates learned when they enter their practical fields that, it is indeed the survival of the fittest. Some companies demand excellent communication skills, some asks for great GPA, some requires fine organizational skills etc. Every position in every company requires different qualities.
And with the passage of each year and due to the disastrous effects of global recession, worldwide inflation and fierce international and national competition, companies all over the world are finding new ways to cut down cost to sustain their presence. Job openings are cutting less year by year, parallel with fear of downsizing always hanging like a naked sword on the employs. As a result the market environment is getting a bit hostile for the fresh graduates to score a mark. And even if companies hire them, either its on a probation period of 6 months or less, or on a low salary. Despite the fact that they belong to the top private university of the state, or a position holder from a government university. Companies observe similar criteria for all and sundry. Usually companies avoid to hire fresh graduates as they require 3 months training to fit in and understand the full operation of a department, along with the company.
PRESENT SCENARIO:
According to a re-assessment of Higher Education of Workforce seminar Birmingham in 2005, First Destination Statistics on ‘graduate’ employment suggests that fewer students than previously thought (64.7% as opposed to 94.2%) are entering graduate-level employment.
In the last few years national and international universities were successful in developing a curriculum for business, Media, I.T and numerous other fields to be more practical based. In various top institutes, 2 to 3 months internship after finishing their fourth semester is mandatory to complete, along with submission of the report as how this internship helped the student to further develop his/her skills and how he/she utilized the knowledge of the last 4 semesters they passed. Internships during university life are vital for soon-to-be-graduates as they learn the ethics and norms to communicate and survive in a practical world where challenges are met on daily basis.
