ing conclusion on the basis of a single year performance that might have been influenced by some factors other than corporate governance factors. Thirdly, this study makes suggestions on the basis of simple regression analysis that might be inconclusive in some cases, so a better analysis that ceases or minimises impact of influencing variables might come with different conclusions. Future studies should take these suggestions in consideration; moreover, strategic capabilities of family CEO/Chairman should also be taken in consideration for measuring their effect on influencing financial performance of firm.
