Analysis on How to Bring BC into Play for Enterprises in Crisis: A Case Study of Coca-Cola Beverage Poisoning Event
Abstract
The business communication in enterprises is used widely and always plays a large part for the business development. Effective and systematic communication can bring the business with a harmonious and loose social space, which helps the enterprise make most of their operating capacity. This dissertation firstly reviews the genres of communication theories before presenting the definition and types of business communication. Then the approaches to business communication studies as well as the current issues in business communication field will be reviewed later. Based on the orientation of solving current issues, through case study to the Coca-Cola Company of beverage poisoning event, the application of business communication theories is demonstrated. Finally it can be concluded that the enterprise in crisis should really think highly of the mutual communication between itself and the outside; in particular, the enterprise should take its responsibilities for the crisis broken out. During the communication process, the enterprise then needs to figure out how to solve the crisis based on the bearing of responsibilities. What needs to mentioned additionally here is that the successful and effective application of business communication theories cannot be separated from the mix of coordinated step between business communication strategy and business communication skills.
