摘要：本文是一篇商务英语翻译论文，笔者从上述动词化策略在医学文本中的应用案例可以看出，英汉翻译中的动词化策略可以提高中文译文的可读性。然而，所谓的言语化策略并不是简单的词性转换，而是根据不同的情况需要不同的处理方法。例如，对于一些抽象名词，译者可以在理解的基础上将抽象概念转化为具体的条件，把握潜在核心作用的实质，即使适当增加一些词语，也可以确保翻译的流畅性。

In the process of translation,I also referred to many articles related to medical English tounderstand the common words and structures of medical English,such as Scientific andTechnical Translation by Sue Ellen Wright et al.From this book,it was learned that“clarity,concision and correctness,the principal stylistic goals of technical writing,are simultaneouslythose of technical translation”(Sue,1993:11).As mentioned above,medical English mayhave some long and complex sentences.In order to achieve the goals of clarity,concision andcorrectness,the long sentences possible in English source text may be broken up into shortersentences in Chinese target text.

5.1 Verbalization of Nouns

English,often with many nouns used in a single sentence,shows noun advantages.Fromthe word-building rules of English,we can see that many English nouns are transformed fromverbs,or derived from adjectives,with a large number of abstract nouns.The use of nouns toexpress the meaning of verbs is the most common demonstration of English static tendency.Compared with prepositions and adjectives,nouns in English take on more meanings ofaction or movement.

5.1.1 Verbalization of Verb-derived Nouns

Many nouns in English are derived from verbs and belong to verb derivatives,such asthe-ing form of verbs,and the verbs plus“-sion”,“-tion”and other affixes.Although theseare nouns in form,they often retain the characteristics of verbs.For this reason,the use ofverbalization strategy in E-C translation is more in line with Chinese expression habits.
