Conclusion


At beginning of thesis, the author pointed out that the students' oral Englishability was generally poor at a junior middle school where she taught. With theobjective of "How to improve students' English spoken ability", the authorinvestigated into the current situation of oral English learning and teaching at thisschool and summarized the existing problems. The instruments included questionnaire,classroom observation, interview and oral test. Then taking constructivism learningtheory and proximal development learning theory support, the author put forward theteaching countermeasures and made experiment in order to test if the experimentgroup by accepting countermeasures can perform better in oral English ability thancontrol group did.
It the thesis, the author gave an exhaustive account of experiment. Theexperiment was carried out in the following steps: questionnaire, interview, pre-test,teaching countermeasures, post-test, questionnaire, interview and data-collectionanalysis.
