0.1 Research Background and Significance
英语是当今社会最重要的信息载体,联系也还是世界上最通用的语言。英语教育的质量是基础教育发展战略的一个重要组成部分。在许多国家,政府已经把它摆在突出位置。初中的时间是在中国学习英语的基础阶段,也是关键时期,培养学生的能力,听,说,读,写。在21世纪,英语教育已经在中国不断扩大。在课堂上,英语教学,强调知识转移在过去当前侧重于培养学生的素质教育。学生素质教育的一个主要部分,是提高学生的实践能力,使用英语,口语能力。在中国中学英语教学中一直稳步上升,从1985年开发的。政府制定了一系列的教育政策,修订了教学大纲几次,颁布了“新课程标准(试用版)”,并公布了新的教学材料。师范院校各级培养了一大批高素质的教师队伍,不断改进和完善教学方法。English is the most important information carrier in today's society, and alsothe world's most universal language. The quality of English Education is an importantpart for basic education development strategy. In many countries, the governmentshad put it in a prominent position. In China the time at junior middle school is thefoundation stage of learning English, and also the critical period for cultivatingstudents' abilities of listening, speaking, reading and writing. In the 21st century,English education has been unceasingly expanded in China. In class, English teachingwas emphasized on from transferring knowledge in the past to the current focusing oncultivating students' quality education. One of the major parts of students' qualityeducation is to improve their practical ability to use English, that is spoken ability.In China English teaching at middle school had been developed steadilyfrom1985. The government formulated a series of education policies, revised thesyllabus for several times, promulgated the "New curriculum standards (trial version)",and published the new teaching materials. The normal universities and colleges atvarious levels trained a large number of high-quality teachers who constantlyimproved and perfected the teaching methods.
旧的教学方法主要强调讲解英语语法和词汇,忽略了实际的语言实际运用能力。新课程标准已经改变了这种旧方法。从学生的学习兴趣,生活经验和认知水平,倡导体验,实践,参与,合作与交流的学习方式和任务型的教学途径,发展学生的综合语言运用能力。它也做的过程中学习语言生活成为的方式,可以引导学生保持积极的情感态度,主动思维和大胆实践,提高学生的跨文化意识和自主学习能力。新的课程标准已经越来越重视英语口语能力,并改变了教学模式从“以教师为中心”向“以学生为本”,“教室作为中心”扩展到“生命为基础”,开发“知识为中心”的“综合能力为标准”,创造了最好的语言环境,用最好的教学方法,追求最高的教学效果。黄冬梅,(2002年)The old teaching methods mainly emphasized on explaining English grammarand vocabulary and ignored the actual language practical use ability. The newcurriculum standards had changed this old method. From students' interest in learning,life experiences and cognitive level, it advocated experience, practice, participation,cooperation and exchange of learning methods and task-based teaching approach, anddeveloped students' comprehensive language use ability. It also made the process oflanguage learning become the ways that can lead students to hold the positiveemotional attitudes, active thinking and courageous practice, improve theirintercultural consciousness and self-learning ability. New curriculum standards hasincreasingly paid attention to the English spoken ability and changed the teachingmode from the "teacher-centered" to the "student-centered", made the "classroom asthe center" extend to the "life as the basis", developed the "knowledge as the center"to the "comprehensive ability as standards", created the best language environment,used the best teaching methods, and pursued the highest teaching results.(HuangDongmei, 2002)
In 2010 of September, a new semester began, the author greeted the arrival ofnew students. This year author's teaching task was to teach English course for ClassOne and Class Two in Grade Seven.
