4 Analysis on Teacher-student Conflicts in Junior High School English Teaching
4.1 Data Analysis
We can infer that most teachers have acknowledged the concept of teacher-studentconflict and think it has some positive functions, but 34% students consider the conflicthappened between teacher and students are totally negative, 25% students have no idea aboutthe concept. As going deep into the topic, we should first have a correct and comprehensiveattitude towards the definition and meaning of teacher-students conflict. It has not onlynegative effects but also some positive effects on teaching and learning process if both teacherand student try their best on transferring the bad effect into the good ones.When I interview an English teacher of No.49 middle school of Dalian, I heard a story ofhow to change the negative teacher-student conflict into a positive one.

Conclusion
A good relationship between teachers and students is to teaching and learning as what airis to human beings: We can’t see or touch or smell the air but it exists in everywhere and wecan’t live without it. Teaching also uses the same principle. The good teacher-studentrelationship is not a concrete object that we can go and fetch, but it influences the teachingand learning procedure greatly. Without it, all efforts are only empty words.This thesis mainly focuses on the teacher-student conflicts in junior high school Englishteaching, it’s based on a large amount of literatures and famous theories that related toteacher-student conflicts, and did a lot of researches with the aids of questionnaires andinterviews to collect the data and gave a detailed analysis about the current situation ofteacher-student conflicts in junior high school English teaching.
