Conclusion


This paper provides an investigation into the difference of using learning strategies interms of different level of language proficiency among English majors in JiNing Teachers’College in China. It first focuses on the definition of autonomy and the definition oflearning strategies as well as the relationship between the two concepts. Then the paperelaborates on the literature review of learner autonomy and learning strategies, andintroduces the classification of the learning strategies. A survey is conducted to probe intothe students’ use of learning strategies by comparing high score group and low score groupthrough a questionnaire.
