1.0 Executive Summary
With the coming of information age and global era, the enterprise will inevitably go to the way of internationalization. Business without borders, commodity without borders, the market without borders, and competition without borders is the characteristic of today's world. Today, the growth land of corporate giants is not national, but global. However, enterprises in the process of globalization will invariably go the road of native. The multinational corporation’s access to the global must be combined with the local culture of the host country in order to achieve the survival and development. Academic research and a lot of practice show that a considerable number of corporations’ failures are attributed to the failure of cross-cultural management. Culture shapes everything https://www.51lunwen.org/fashion/ (Hickson and Pugh, 1995). Cultural differences are the root causes of culture conflict in multinational companies. Cross-cultural conflict is serious; it will lead to business difficulties, higher costs, lose moral, corporate external image damage and even lead to business failure. The central task of cross-cultural management is to discover and analyze the cultural differences, reduce or eliminate cultural conflict and make cultural integration and establish common values for different cultural backgrounds employees. Cross-culture management is to analyze the two or more existence enterprise culture and identify differences in cultural characteristics, and thus find a solution to deal with cultural conflicts and contradictions in an effective way. Existence and development of multinational corporations have a significant impact on all aspects of the world economy. Managing across borders is important. Strategies of managing across borders play an important role in the management. The paper will analyze the national culture, cross-cultural and management of across borders.
