摘要:人力资源管理问题涉及到各个方面,在汽车维修行业也存在着人力资源管理上的一些问题,本报告旨在证明它们所面临的被称为汽车维修单位组织的人力资源管理的问题。

There is tension between the trade union and the management of the Automobile Maintenance Organization regarding issues such as pay rewards and stress from having to maintain a large number of cars in a day. The main issue is regarding the performance appraisal. The workers complaint that they work on a large number of cars in a day which results in workers lack of interest in work which eventually results in the loss of the organization regarding revenues and profits.

 

Mostly there is a trade union leader whom the whole trade union follows; he is the representative for the union and all the demands are conveyed to the management through him. Most of the times it has been seen that the demands of the trade union is conflicting or is contradictory with that of the stake holder's interest or the organizational goals and aims so there is often a conflict or tension between the two.

 

The easiest way to resolve the problem is to arrange a meeting between the trade union representative and someone from the organization management so that they can agree on common grounds but in this case both will have to sacrifice to some extent.

 

CHAPTER 6:Organizational Culture and Management Style

 

What is culture?

 

The collective programming of the mind which distinguishes the members of one organisation from another

 

A set of understandings or meanings shared by a group of people. The meanings are largely tacit among members, are clearly relevant to the particular group and are distinctive to the group. Meanings are passed on to new group members

 

Culture may be defined as 'the way we do things around here'

 

Culture is customary and traditional way of doing things which is shared by all its members and which new members must learn in order to be accepted.

 

Culture covers a wide range of behaviour attitude towards discipline and punishment, objectives of the company, the ways of doing business and beliefs in democratic living

 

Types of Organizational Culture

 

There are four types of culture within the Organization which are as follows:
