Regarding to medicine, the founders of western medicine are Hippocrates (B.C. 5th century) and Galen(A.D. 2nd century). At that time, Greek became the current words of science. Until the middle ages, Latin appeared and became the standard words of medicine. If medicine fell into this situation, other fields should also do so. In the Chaucer ages and two hundred years after that ages, the Humanism movement in the European Renaissance caused great influence to the English development. English humanists concentrated on the research of ancient Greek and Roman literature and classic science books and integrated Greek and Latin vocabularies into English vocabularies. Until 17th century, many famous science thesis were published in Latin, for example, Bacon Francis's famous book "Novum Organum" on scientific methods, scientific books of scientists Harvey(1578~1657) and Newton. In the 17th century, the capitalism revolution stimulated the scientific development and many science English neologisms flowed into English vocabularies, for example, oxygen, hydraulics, stratum, geology, telescope and zoology. The neologisms are created by English scientists at that time according to Greek and Latin. In the 19th century, with the development of science and technology, the nouns of science and technology change and update and the majority of these nouns come from Greek and Latin.
 
   Ⅳ. The Formations of Science English Neologism
 In order to adapt to the developing speed of science and technology, most of science English neologism adopt standard method and the neologism are created rapidly. Science English neologisms make use of the existing language material and adopt different formations to describe the object, which is easily understood and accepted by majority.
   4.1 The Trend of Science English Neologism Formations
   The proportion of borrowing common English vocabularies becomes higher and there are two reasons: one is the external reason which mainly refers to the factors of society, psychology and cognitive ability; the other is the internal reason which mainly refers to the rule of inter self-change.
   4.1.1 More Neologisms from Common English Vocabularies
  With a view to external reason, the quantity of human knowledge doubles in every fifty years in 19th century, doubles in every ten years in the middle of 20th century and doubles in every three years in recent time(水宁宁，1995：54). A large number of new concepts in all kinds of knowledge fields appear and the languages which are regarded as information carriers have more and more terminologies. When the scientists apply the terminologies to new inventions and discoveries, they feel hard to find suitable words from Greek and Latin. Furthermore, many scientists are devoid of the knowledge of ancient and classical language and they associate new inventions and discoveries with something which they are familiar with. They make use of common English vocabularies to call new inventions and discoveries.
