ng’s lifetime as a part of the late Qing Dynasty. The author will give a detailed introduction on Jiang Zhixiang  because  the  study  led  in  this  paper  is  at  the  basis  of  his  translation.  As  we talked above, we still did not know Jiang Zhixiang’s exact birth time, but we do be sure that  he  experienced  the  period  of  1840-1842.  During  that  time,  China  witnessed  great social changes. During the period of 1840-1921, China suffered a great deal of struggles and  difficulties.  Before  Opium  War,  the  dominance  hierarchy  held  the  view  that  there was no civilization that is higher than their own and it had no idea that there was a more advanced social regime in West. To most Chinese, their own country was at the center of the world, and all the other country people were inferior to them. So they called them barbarian.  In  short,  before  1840,  the  imperial  China  is  extremely  arrogant  and self-proud figure. This unrealistic dream of the Number 1 in the world was broken after the  Opium  Wars  in  1840-1842  and  1856-1860.

CONCLUSION 

Through  data  collection  and  analysis  as  the  foundation  and  by  means  of  textual analysis，comparative analysis and inductive method, This paper refined the translation works.  Lishao  Jushi’s  translations  successfully  catered  to  the  aesthetic  needs  of  the readers,  widely  accepted  social  ideology  and  poetics  of  the  translator's  inherent paradigm. Based  on  the  above  study  of  Jiang  Zhixiang’s  translation  thoughts  through  the analysis  of  the  texts,  it  is  discovered  that  his  translations  thoughts  were  deeply manipulated by the three factors (ideology, poetics and patronage) during his translation process,  which  clearly  proves  that  the  three  factors  could  be  applied  to  the  translation study. Ever  since  1860,  in  order  to  resist  the  foreign  invasion,  quicken  the  rate  of domestic  social  development,  realize  the  dream  of  producing  ships  and  building railways  on  their  own,  the  Qing  government  started  with  westernization  movement. Because of this, tremendous amounts of western works on science and technology were brought  in  China.  In  addition,  people  with  version  translated  some  western  literary works, which would be a great help for Chinese to comprehend the West.
