This report briefly shows the result of a cutting-edge research on the brain genetic. The purpose of this research group is to reveal the genes expression that makes human more intellectual than monkey and chimpanzee. The result shows that seven groups of modular genes differentially expressed in human and in the others seem to be involved in linking nerve cells together, and make human brains more receptive to changes for longer(to the age of about five) than is true for chimps or monkeys. (whose brains are plastic for less than a year after birth).

This research result gives us a clue about education of young children. The research shows that human minds are more receptive to changes to the age of about five. This result is supported by the observation that human babies learn language much faster and better than human adults. Beside the structural difference of brain makes children more receptive to language, Some other researchers studying the language learning ability of baby attribute this special talent to the ways baby learns it. A research work from Lewkowicz DJ observed that development of speech production capacity relies on changes in selective audiovisual attention and that it depends critically on early experience. This conclusion was made based on the experiment that the baby will pay attention to the mouth of speaker at the first time regardless of language and then shift back to eyes if they hear their native language but nonnative speech. Therefore, based on the research results above, some sort of learning should be crammed in young children when they are most receptive: foreign language, musicality and maths and save other subject like science, economics and literature later.

However, Even though intriguing and inspiring, unravel the mystery of intelligence by comparing humans and “lower” primatives are not the only methods researchers do in brain genetic. Deary IJ et al [1] compared humans of different intelligence phenotypes; that is, people of higher intelligence and people of less intelligence. He also compared people with specific talents and compared people of young and old to find the genetic foundation of cognitive skills [2]. All these researches was done based on the assumption that human’s intelligence are pre-built only based on genes formed by every bit of nucleotide sequences. They neglect the importance of ambient impact and postnatal environment. Some report shows that if a pair of twins was separated from each other and adopted in two different family, the IQ of them would vary after they grow up. Children who lived in a higher educated family are more likely to have a higher IQ. Also, it was reported that some so called wolf-child only have intelligence as wolves and can not learn human language after they were found, even though their brain are structurally no different from normal human beings. Other studies on twins and siblings also indicate that genes are not the only factor infect people’s intelligence. The contribution of other factors in terms of environment, education, and occupation was tested and discussed [3,4]
