摘要:本文是英语论文范文,本文尝试以国内的国有企业、民营企业和外资企业所发布的企业责任报告为研究对象,以评价理论作为理论框架,借助 UAM Corpus Tool 的帮助,来分析不同类型的企业责任报告所构建的企业形象以及与利益相关者的关系有何异同,并初步分析其原因。
Human language is critical to express their feelings and is also comparatively easier to access than bio-physiological or physiological emotional indicators. “Language enables humans to the expression of their conscious awareness of emotions; therefore, language allows readers or audiences to assess the subjective feeling component of emotions” (Andy Dong, 2006). In the process of editing CSR reports, which functions as company files of describing current situation and constructing their relationship with stakeholders, writers or authors will inevitably take certain stance and make some evaluation. In this sense, CSR reports are located in the field of Appraisal Theory. In this chapter, the writer will mainly present how these CSR reports celebrate these two functions through Appraisal Theory. In other words, it particular demonstrates in what way that all levels of Appraisal resources construe the relationship between writer and readers. Besides, this chapter will answer the three questions mentioned in the first chapter: Attitude system is applied to show what kinds of attitude authors’ of CSR report embrace; Engagement system is used to represent by what means CSR reports’ writers negotiate their attitude with readers; and Graduation system reveals how these writers tune intensity of all these attitude for the purpose of aligning their readers. The current research takes qualitative and quantitative method simultaneously. On one hand, it demonstrates all results of the statistical data analyzed by UAM Corpus Tool and give a tentative explanation on the basis of these results; on the other hand, through the method of Appraisal theory, the author will extract specific examples from related texts so as to analyze these discourses.
