5　采用圆通的手法

外贸英语信函切忌生硬、死板。对买卖双方来说,发现和纠正商品和服务中存在的缺陷都是令人不愉快的事,但应尽量避免使用表示不良情绪如claim(索赔)、defective(有缺陷)、a-mazed(惊讶)、surprised(吃惊)、fault(错误)、re-gret(遗憾)等词,避免使用讥讽的语气,因为这些会损害友好合作。在结束理赔信时,为了表示体谅,可能会说“If you have any more diffi-culty,please do not hesitate to let us know.”(如果你还有困难,请勿犹豫告诉我们。)或“We donot think you will have any more difficulty·”(我们想,你们不会有更多困难。)之类的句子。事实上,这类句子在客户心中会令其产生不快的情绪,故应避免。例如:Letter1
