Conclusion

There are still some suggestions for a further research. They are as follows:
1. Need analysis is a long-term dynamic process. The focus on the learner's needshould last a period of time. If possible，the researchers can make a comparative study onthe learner's need periodically.
2. The research targets can be variable. The students in this inquiry are all Englishmajors. This inquiry can also be conducted to the non-English majors.
3. The questionnaire is mainly made on the theoretical framework of need analysis.Even though the questionnaires have been improved，they are still not very standard. Thisdissertation calls for a standardized questionnaire on the learner's need for BE learning inthe future.
