Chapter 3 Current Situation of Middle School English Teaching
Recent twenty years is the period of middle school English teaching' stable development. It makes a great progress in the following aspects: 1.Our country worked out a series of foreign language education policies which is useful in English teaching; 2. It worked out national united teaching outline, and distributed new middle school English texts; 3. The whole society understands more clearly the importance of learning English, creating an good atmosphere for English learning. However, there are still some problems that need to solve.
3.1 Performance of Students
Students in middle schools are very curious and lively. At the beginning, they are very interested in English learning. They show great enthusiasm during the classroom activities. But students' affect in English learning has changed with the increasing of English drills, vocabulary, grammars and the development of the classroom activities.
