In the case, there are a number of issues which are having an adverse effect on the costs and, consequently, the profitability of the business. Your brief is to:- • Identify and describe one of the problems that currently exist and explain how it is potentially harming the company. • Describe the evidence that supports your claim that the problem exists. • Carry out a literature review to identify what is considered to be “Best-Practice” in the area of Operations Management related to the problem. • From the conclusions drawn from your literature review and your findings within the case study, create a proposal for the changes you would like to see introduced to solve the selected problem.
