What is the secretof your success, and what about yourperformance in the areas of socialand environmental responsibility?DANONE’s successes are a matter ofsound business fundamentals and astrategy focused on reinforcement ofour health positioning, expansion onnew frontiers and worldwide deploymentof our top brands. Above all, thevitality of our Group is the vitality of aculture—a culture of responsiveness, ofadapting to local conditions—that isalso reflected in a relatively informalmanagement style favoring innovationand networking. What I find particularlystriking about the results of our inhousesurveys is the extent of ourteams’ commitment to that very specialculture.
