摘要:本文是一篇英语阅读论文,笔者通过数据分析与归纳,研究发现:⾼中英语阅读教学批判性思维能⼒培养现状总体⼀般。英语教师主要采⽤导⼊与读前活动、读中⽂章理解、读后思考与评价等环节开展批判性思维能⼒培养的阅读课堂教学,并将阐释、分析、推断和解释⼦能⼒培养融⼊到阅读教学中。

Conclusion

This chapter will answer the research questions,summarize the conclusions andexplain the limitations of this study.

By analyzing and discussing the current situation and training effect of criticalthinking ability in English reading teaching at W Senior High School,the followingconclusions are drawn:

(1)Some teachers pay attention to the development of students’critical thinkingability

Some W High School English teachers focus on developing students’criticalthinking ability in reading teaching.In teaching practice,they mainly combine partialinterpretation,analysis,assessment,and interpretation abilities with reading teaching.They exercise and improve students’critical thinking ability through the introduction,understanding before reading,thinking and evaluation during reading,and other links.

(2)The overall effect of the cultivation is general

The overall effect of English reading teaching on cultivating students’criticalthinking ability could be better.In the reading class,teachers consciously guide studentsto develop their critical thinking ability from reading activities or behaviors.However,they mainly cultivate students’ability of interpretation,analysis,and explanation,whichis still far from the ideal state of critical thinking ability cultivation.

(3)Problems in reading teaching and evaluation

The reading activities designed by W high school English teachers neglect thecultivation of students’assessment ability and self-reflection;Moreover,the teachingmode is single,which mainly shows that teachers guide students to understand thearticles and explore the meaning of the articles.Teachers’classroom feedback andhomework feedback to students are too simple,mainly in oral form,and there needs to bewritten evaluation records and accumulation.
