Many teachers think the textbook in use is difficult, even though it covers a wider range under the New Curriculum. They can  add  or  prune  the  teaching  contents  according  to  the  students’  situation.  Since  the activities designed in the textbook are rich, the teachers can make use of these activities as the materials to preview before class and review after class. Since some teachers are accustomed  to  the  ready-made  exercises,  they  think  that  the  textbook  is  not  good enough,  simply  because  it  has  failed  to  provide  adequate  exercises  for  use.  Secondly, passive  rather  than  active,  some  teachers  always  stick  to  the  traditional  teaching methods,  thinking  that  their  duty  is  simply  to  impart  knowledge  which  they  have enough to teach the students.
