All the above tells us that there are still many women who cannot have their human rights and are treated inferiorly. B. Why Do They Fall Behind? Looking back at those countries we mention above, most of them are poor. The first reason for it: their economy is falling behind and it is an obstruction to development. Without enough money, they could not improve citizens’ education situation, much less female’s condition. For lack of financial supports, not only high education, but the basic education faces difficulties. And even though they could divert large amount of money, it is hard to meet the need for the increasing population. And in most of those countries, women are willing to accept a traditional position given by men. They do not think it necessary to go to work or study than looking after family. They are well trained and satisfied with it. To those who are eager for study or jobs, too early marriage makes them busy in giving births and taking care of children. They don’t have enough energy to do what they want. Additionally, women who are aware, initiative lead women’s movements in America and there is a national basement. Yet, in some countries, such as in Arabia, the “women’s” movements are supported, encouraged and enlightened by men, and only a few upper middle class women take part in it; women from lower classes, most of them are absented. And American movements criticize male and the unequal society to reveal the root of discrimination to women. Compared with them, however, those countries prefer more tender methods than demonstrations and impacting Parliament. C. What Should Be Done to Improve Women’s Status? From both the exterior and interior, in order to improve women’s status in the world, there is much to be done. Basically, the writer offers the following proposals: 1. Help the poor countries to develop quickly. Productive forces will affect the mode of production, and also the requirements for labor force. It means that the strength won’t be the main factor to employees, so that there will be more chances to women. And only when the nation gets enough money, would women have chances to go to school and be educated. Every country should have women’s organizations in each place and offer those organization honors, powers and funds, so that they can help women in trouble and help them to be emancipated.
