On the otherhand, English varieties which were inspired from American English proved a differentprocess of cultural identity in different countries.The significance of this thesis can be divided into two aspects. Study the relationshipbetween cultural localization and cultural globalization with cases from perspective ofEnglish varieties is a new field, in recent years much work has been done in this area, butit was just limited to the discussion and comparison on the changing of grammar, idioms,phonology, and popular phrases or words. Theoretically, the thesis can help us recognizethe relationship between cultural localization and cultural globalization, and it can alsohelp us to successful communication and identity crisis.The purpose of the research is to make clear the relationship between culturallocalization and globalization from the aspect of different English varieties. The study canbe applied for educational purpose, and can help the readers establish an outlook on thediversity of culture . It also can be applied to explore the forecast of cultural development,and help people realize effective and successful inter-cultural communication.Different English varieties make different problems in the exchange andcommunication in daily life; therefore, it is important to imbue people with someinformation about English varieties in different cultural contexts. Practically, the researchwill enable the readers to get some knowledge about cultural globalization and crisis ofvanishing local culture under the construction of Deterritorialization theory and ThreeConcentric Circles theory.

　　
　　1.3 Structure of the thesis论文结构
　　The whole thesis includes five chapters totally. Chapter 1 is a brief introduction ofthis thesis. Chapter 2 is the literature review. The author claims the theoretical backgroundof the research. It begins with Deterritorialization and three concentric circles, which hasbeen one of the popular academic focuses on the world for many years. Then it introducestwo points in the academic area, one insisted in cultural unification which clearly revealedthe hegemonic nature of cultural globalization. However important it is, this point failed toemphasize cultural homogeneity, for much of their focus was directed on analyzingcultural imperialism. The other suggested cultural multiplication, which proposed firmlyon that global culture, is marked by heterogeneity and difference. In the contemporarycontext of building global culture, most of the professors are inclined to harmoniouscoexistence and cultural diversity of all ethnic groups. Thus, a synthesis perspective of thetwo theories is adopted in the thesis. Chapter 3 is research design. It includes themethodology of the research, the framework of the theory, and data acquisition. Chapter 4is analysis and further discussion on Indian English, China English, Malaysian English,and Japanese English. In this chapter, the author firstly gives an introduction to IndianEnglish, China English, Malaysian English, and Japanese English, then make an analysison differences between these English varieties and Standard English.
