摘要:本文是大学英语教学论文,研究结果表明:“过程写作法”能更好地增强学生们的写作信心,提高他们的写作成绩,由此得出结论:过程写作法在大学英语专业的写作教学中具有一定的可行性。

After that, the data from questionnaire were collected, classified and analyzed; the table4.1 below is the result of analysis.From question 9 to 13 are designed to testify students’ writing habit, question 9 showsthat 45.5% of students thought that writing is an individual activity, and 18.2% of studentshold that cooperation in writing does not matter, question 10 said that 36.4% of studentsnever wrote outline before they wrote, question 13 shows that only 3.6% of students readteacher’s feedback carefully, and did revise according to their teacher’s comment.From question 14 to 19 are designed to testify students’ confidence towards writing,question 14 shows that 87.3% of students hold that content was not the difficult part inwriting, which mean most of students paid attention on the grammar, vocabulary andstructure during their writing, and they were not confident of these parts in writing, fromquestion 15 to 19 showed only one fourth students had confidence in writing.Above all, the data showed that most students did not have confidence to finish theirwriting, especially for those who did not know what to write and how to write composition,and they did not think paying attention to content is important point to improve theirwriting ability.

Conclusion
In this chapter, the major findings were presented and discussed according to thecollected data from the experiment and research data analysis, and also some limitationsduring running the experiment and the implications were interpreted, at the same time,some suggestions for the further research also were presented.After comparison the data of the questionnaires and interview, it was obvious that theprocess-oriented approach can enhance students’ confidence in writing. According to theprevious data in the pre-questionnaire, only 5.5% students had confidence in writing, butthis figure was increased to 21.8% after this teaching experiment, it meant that studentshad strong confidence in finishing their writing independently. Students in EC took activepart in the stages of the process-oriented approach, from the data of the interview we couldsee that the process writing approach helped them to learn how to think, how to write andwhat to write. In the meanwhile, students in EC were encouraged to express their ownviews about the topic clearly so that they can speak out their ideas and thoughts in front oftheir classmates, thus built up their confidence in writing gradually.
