3. What is the impact of these in society and with the students and their families we interact with daily, weekly, briefly, or the like?

Effective communication between parents and teachers can help parents become partners  in children’s education. Effective communicating including speaking, listening, reflection and so on. When interacting with students and their families, one way communication (simple newsletters, media, suggestion box, handbooks) and two way communication (homework hot line, computer information line, e-mail, chats, background material and assignment explanations, telephone calls, home visits, visits to the classroom, participation visits) should be used. Cultural unity and cultural literacy have important influence on the society. For instance, it may affect the political philosophy of education when protecting Western cultural unity and traditions. Western culture supports a natural rights philosophy, and the continuous existing of the sate relies on national cultural unity (Berger & Riojas, 2012). Considering the cultural unity and cultural literacy, different scholars hold different opinions on education. Someone think multicultural curriculum is not proper in order to keep cultural unity; however, others regard multicultural curriculum is necessary (Berger & Riojas, 2012). Cultural unity and cultural literacy have important influence on education method and communication with students and parents in education activities. For effective communication, parents and schools should strengthen their mutual understanding and effectively deal with various issues in the preschool education.
