4.1 The Influences of Dynamic Assessment on Students’Attitudestowards English Writing

As is often said,attitude matters.Students’attitudes towards English writing,to someextent,significantly influence the effectiveness of assessment method in English writing.This section demonstrates and analyzes the changes of students’attitudes towards Englishwriting before and after the experiment,including questionnaire and interview.

4.1.1 Students’Attitudes towards English Writing before the Experiment

Writing attitude can be divided into three dimensions,including writing cognition,writing emotion and writing behavioral tendency.Thus,this part aims to investigatestudents’attitudes towards English writing before the experiment.First of all,the results ofItem One to Four are shown below:

5.1 Main Findings of the Research

As is mentioned earlier,the present study tries to find out the effectiveness ofDynamic Assessment in senior high school English writing teaching.After analyzing thedata,different findings have been made.The main findings may be summarized as follows.

In the first place,dynamic assessment has positive influences on students’attitudestowards English writing in senior high schools.There are great changes in students’attitudes towards English writing from three dimensions after the experiment.In terms ofwriting cognition,learners regard English writing as a crucial language skill and have adeeper understanding of writing after dynamic assessment writing teaching.In terms ofwriting emotion,learners present their interest and confidence in English writing with thehelp of dynamic assessment.More significantly,learners’behavioral tendency of writing ismore active and positive.Diverse assessments and interaction in dynamic assessment makestudents enjoy writing and their enthusiasm and initiative are greatly boosted.Obviously,itcan be seen that dynamic assessment has undeniable effectiveness on students’positiveattitudes towards English writing.

In the second place,under the teaching of dynamic assessment writing,students’awareness of using writing strategies in the whole process is significantly strengthened,which cultivates their English core competence.Before the experiment,it can be seen thatstudents lack the awareness of using writing strategy through the questionnaire,especiallythe revision strategy.But after dynamic assessment teaching experiment,students place anemphasis on the writing strategy in all writing stage.At the same time,dynamic assessmentalso enables students to enjoy writing in daily life.It can be inferred that students’ awareness of using writing strategy has been fortified.Students’increasing awareness ofusing English writing strategies also reflects the 论文英语论文网提供整理,提供论文代写英语论文代写代写论文代写英语论文代写留学生论文代写英文论文留学生论文代写相关核心关键词搜索。
