Summative evaluation also plays an important role. Summative evaluation is theevaluation of students' attainment of certain teaching objectives after carrying out teachingactivities. It is generally a static evaluation, often in the form of scores, with a summativecharacter. It can be used to determine the degree of knowledge mastery and application ofstudents, is also crucial to evaluate the learning outcomes of blended teaching, and canbalance the relationship between online and offline learning approaches.

Differences in the Distribution of Different Learning Styles

In the first part of data collection, this thesis carried out the measurement andstatistical work of learning styles. And the author further classifies all research participantsaccording to learning style. So, are there differences in the distribution of learning styles?Is there a significant difference between the distribution of learning styles and gender? Ifthere are significant differences, what is the distribution of learning styles of male andfemale students? Therefore, in the first step of data analysis, the author used the SPSS.25version to conduct a descriptive analysis of the distribution of learning styles. The resultscan be seen from table 5-1.

6.1 Major Findings

This research aims to find out the correlation between students' learning style andlearning outcomes in the college English blended teaching based on the MOOC platform.After data collection and analysis, the major findings of this research are as follows:

Firstly: there are significant differences in learning styles among non-English majors.In this study, among the 91 students who have participated in the learning style survey andare in the valid questionnaire range, the convergent learning style has the most students(32 students), followed by the accomodative learning style (26 students), the assimilativelearning style (20 students) and the divergent learning style (13 students). The distributionof learning styles and gender are also attach remarkable differences. Among the learningstyles of female students, the number of accomodative learning style is the largest (22students), and the number of divergent learning style is the least (7 students).
