摘要:本文是高中英语论文,本研究是在前人研究和研究的基础上进行的。作者的主要研究方法,即定性和定量相结合的方法。本文由两个研究工具:问卷调查和访谈。这项研究有两个目的。首先,本研究旨在探讨高中学生英语写作焦虑的概况。其次,本研究将发现英语对写作过程中写作焦虑的原因。

2.2 Studies on Foreign Language Anxiety
In our country, English is one of the three main subjects which will be studied byall senior high school students. Moreover, high school students’ English learningmainly happens in traditional classroom learning environment. So based on the realityof China, foreign language anxiety and second language anxiety are usually regardedas English learning anxiety in this paper.According to the studies of MacIntyre and Gardner (1991), they support thatanxiety has the strongest relationship with language achievements. So in this part, itconsists of a literature review that is about foreign language anxiety, including itsdefinitions, classifications. Foreign language anxiety is regarded as one of the most essential emotionalfactors for foreign or second language learners. Arnold (2000) claimed that during thepast four decades there were much more studies on anxiety in education all around theworld. These studies found that anxiety was possibly the most vital obstacle in thelearning process. Since the mid-1980s, foreign language anxiety has been consideredas a conceptually different anxiety when it is compared with other kinds of anxiety,for example, state anxiety, trait anxiety and test anxiety. In 1986, Horwitz and hiscolleagues began to do the research of foreign language learning. Then Horwitz et al.(1986) firstly put forward the conceptualized foreign language anxiety as “a distinctcomplicated of self-perception, beliefs, feelings, and behaviors related to classroomlanguage learning arising from the special language learning process”. Based on thedefinition of MacIntyre and Gardner (1989), language anxiety is regarded as oneanxious feeling existed in the situation where learners need to use foreign languages.However, the learner is not fully skilled in this situation.
