It was accepted that Henry Ford had three most notable contributions to the world. First, he invented the Model T, which changed the American people's concept of cars. Second, he made $5 per day as minimum wage for workers, which increased the employees’ income. In conclusion, Henry Ford had made a significant contribution to the industrial production’s development process. Henry designed the moving assembly line and applied it to the Model T’s production. The mass production of Model T changed the Americans’ means of transportation. Working 8 hour earning 5 dollars working mode improved working class’ quality of life. Henry’s assembly line and his policy of payment connect mass production to mass consumption. All these led to American’s unparalleled prosperous. The Fordism changed the factories production mode. Under Fordism, workers were well arranged by the automate assembly line and the cost were largely cut down. But the mass production with assembly line was lack of resilience in responding to markets changing. The Fordism also caused the conflict between employers and employees because the workload was very heavy and workers feel boring all the working time.
