Abstract:The concept of the world citizen stressed generally the cultivation of common spirit and culture. American philosopher Martha C. Nussbaum published the "cultivating humanity" in the year 1997, which can be regarded as a classic discussion on world civic Education. Although it directly related to the subject (liberal education) of the United States universities, the liberal education she called in fact is world civic education.
