This paper choose English construction “comparative degree and comparative degree”because its meaning and word formation resembles Chinese “yue lai yue” , which is frequentlyused by the Chinese. In this paper, the semantic, syntactic, pragmatic research of Chinese “yuelai yue”and English“comparative degree and comparative degree” are described, which take theBCC and Corpus of Contemporary American(COCA) for Reference.
