d and Structured Presentation of Results.
3LEARNING METHODS
The standard delivery pattern of the module requires students to attend and actively participate in 6 one hour lectures (3 per semester) and 12 one hour seminars (6 per semester).
Each seminar is closely related to the lecture series and follows student progression through a series of tutor facilitated tasks. Alternatives to the standard delivery patterns will facilitate contextualisation to alternative course/programme needs. Seminar groups will be assigned and contextualised on a course basis.
The teaching and learning strategies are based upon the assumption that all participating students will employ independent and interdependent learning skills which will have been developed prior to attending the module and at an earlier stage in their learning programme.
All students must take a high degree of responsibility for their own self-directed learning. Whilst numerous support facilities exist, it is the sole responsibility of each student to ensure sufficient study is undertaken.
Xstream provides a central focus and one additional route to wider teaching and learning resources for the module. Among other things, resources on Xstream include: The e-Module Handbook, Copies of Lecture Slides, Guidance notes on Assessment, plus copies of journal articles, several guides to Research Methods, the Course and General Chat-Room facilities, and a wide range of additional facilities.
ASSESSMENT METHODS

留学生作业代写Student achievement of the Module’s Learning Outcomes will be measured as follows:
Summative Assessment
Each student is required to submit an individual 3000 word (max) report (100%);
Students must critically review a journal article which must be selected from the list of three allocated by their module tutor;
Students must critically review the research method choices employed by the author(s) of the selected article;
Such Research Methods choices must at the very least include reference to contextualisation, rationale, design, results, and presentation;
Journal articles will be posted on Xstream, along with additional instructions and a copy of marking
guidelines.
Formative Assessment
Informal assessment and feedback will be given during seminar activities with regard to the evaluation of different investigative methods and techniques.
ASSESSMENT SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS
As PGRM is a core module for all taught Masters programmes within the Faculty, a considerable number of assessments are submitted on the day of the set deadline for summative assessments.
In this respect, and to ensure safe submission for all students, PGRM requires on-line submission via Xstream only*.
Each subject area (e.g. Accountancy & Finance, Public Relations, Management Consultancy, and so on) has its own ‘drop box’ located on Xstream where students must submit an electronic copy of their summative assessments. Xstream will not allow any summative assessment paper to be uploaded after the set deadline.
Any summative assessment papers not submitted via Xstream before the set deadline will be treated as a late submission and will accrue the standard penalties for late submission (see below).
*Any student who experiences any technical difficulties in uploading their summative
assignments via Xstream should submit their assignment as a hard copy and obtain a submiss
