Chapter 1 Introduction
Corporate governance has become a globally debated topic. As multinational corporations enter new global markets, complications abound due to the myriad of corporate governance rules existing among the various legal systems. One example of a new market becoming more available to global investment is the Chinese market. The global business community is apt to find more opportunity for investment in China.
Unfortunately, most of the literature have aggressively targeted larger enterprise and State- Owned Enterprise but have been slow to address the application of the SMEs market. (SMEs, Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises, are defined in this research report as firms with less than 500 employees. In the literature, SMEs are variously classified based on a wide range of criteria including number of employees, sales turnover, size of capital assets, etc. The most popular criterion is the number of employees on company's payroll.)
In fact, the SMEs sector is generally recognized as a window of opportunity for rejuvenating mature industries, creating new and innovative markets, and achieving rapid economic growth through employment generation and wealth creation in all economies.
Obviously it is necessary to analyze the corporate governance and organization performance of Chinese SMEs, and the interesting thing is, most of smaller firms have limited human, financial and technological resources and thus their ' strategy' need to be totally different with large enterprises.

Chapter 2. Research aims and objectives
Concern about the dissertation there is a limit in time and length. The focus will be on Corporate Governance and Organization Performance of Chinese SMEs.
The dissertation project will cover the following aims:
• Definite different mode of corporate governance and recommend which kind of successful mode is suitable for Chinese SMEs.
• Present an architecture and framework model for corporate governance issue based on Chinese SMEs,
• Provide comprehensive solutions of maximize organization performance.
There are two research questions the researcher want to analyze during this thesis:
• Which kind of EU corporate governance mode is useful for Chinese SMEs ?
• How to improve the role of the CEO in corporate governance ?
Chapter 3 . Research methodology
To answer the research questions mentioned above, the researcher decide to use the research methodology following:
3.1. Research Philosophy
Three views about the research process dominate the literature: positivism, interpretivism and realism.
After analyzing, the researcher believes that the interpretivism is the best way to do this research. It tends to discover the details of the situation to understand the reality or perhaps a reality working behind them. In order to answer the research topic question. Assumptions are absolutely forbidden to answer this research question.
3.2 Research approach
Inductive research approach will be the most suitable to be used in the researcher's topic.
