Factors affect the Current Organizational Leadership

心理学研究的主要课题之一是领导力研究。这个主题已经被研究了近百年,有成千上万的理论和实证研究。尽管给它努力的做了很多专门研究,在这些文献中,但仍有很多断层 One of the main topics in the psychological researches is the study of leadership. This topic has been investigated for nearly one hundred years and there are thousands of theoretical and empirical studies. In spite of a lot of efforts are dedicated to it, but there are still some disconnection in those literatures. According to Schlosberg (2006), the main reason for this disconnection https://www.51lunwen.org/leadership/ is that a number of studies of this topic are free from the particular context. In other words, low attention is paid to organizational variables that have influence or impact on the leadership. Researches which are remarkable in the society or psychological academic have a tendency to concentrate on processes which is interpersonal between individual people, titularly leaders. Researches that evaluate leadership in the organizational circumstances specifically, especially from the literature of strategic management, also are imperfect because of some other causes. They usually neglect phenomenon related to interpersonal and cognitive and social enrichment. For this reason, it is impossible for them to take issue with processes which can be used to explain the outcomes. However, those studies look for the way model building in the literature of strategic management is concentrated on the inspection of leadership taking place in the higher level of organization.

In summary, organizational leadership in present is faced with various challenges risen by different factors, such as the external business environment, furious competitions, the development of new information technology, change of the natural environment and so on. All of these challenges and risks for leaders indicate that there are more requirements for the senior managers to fulfill in their strategic management process. According to Higgs (2002), the specific requirements for leaders in the twenty first century include areas of skills and competence, such as developing an open communicating climate, creating a proper value of transformation, strong managing skills in challenges and risks, building personal characteristics, learning capability and self-confidence.
