1.2  Domestic  and  Overseas  Research  Status  of  PBL  Teaching Method  

At  present,  PBL  teaching  method  in  foreign  countries  mainly  include  the following  aspects:  In  the  process  of  the  PBL  implementation  teaching  method, students’  attitudes  (including  attitude  to  learning,  teaching  methods,  teachers  and other  students)  influence  students’  academic  record  after  PBL  teaching  method implemented;  Research  on  how  to  acquire  and  use  meta-cognition  skills,  which focuses  on  enlightening  students  develop  meta-cognition,  improve  the  level  of meta-cognition  development  of  students,  teaching  students  how  to  learn  and promoting students’ intellectual thoughts（Wang Zhi-hui，2011）. What’s  more,  the  factors  which  impact  the  effects  of  PBL  teaching  method, including schools, families and teachers. The United States is the earliest country which uses PBL teaching method. PBL teaching method originated from American West than University School of Medicine in the 1950s and American neurology professor Barrows who first introduced the PBL to medicine field at Canadian Mc Master University in the late 1960s. The researchers found  that  the  PBL  can  enhance  students’  learning  motivation  and  develop independent  learning  ability  effectively  (Dooly,  M).  PBL  teaching  method  almost carried  on  all  courses  at  Harvard  University.  They  adopted  group  teaching  methods and this method built a sustainable relationship among basic disciplines and combined basic  discipline  with  practice  discipline  effectively.  Then,  they  are-integrated  the curriculums  and  established  professional  education  reform  objectives  to  make  sure  PBL  teaching  method  would  implement  the  smoothly.  In  the  United  States,  the  key point  of  current  research  is  not  to  promote  students’  learning,  but  in  the  learning process, what hinders their learning. In the1990s, some European schools tried to PBL teaching method in curriculums. University of East Germany carried out research for PBL  teaching  method.
