Conclusion

Although the above limitations of the study are listed, the findings of this study stillprovided some useful insights and the study has a practical significance college Englishclassroom environment. It is obviously that there is still a great deal of further researchneeded to be done.
Firstly, owing to geographical restrictions, all the subjects were chosen from the thesame university---Northwest A&F University, so their perception on college Englishclassroom environment cannot stand for all the non-English majors’ situation and the samplesize of the study is not big enough. In the future, if the conditions permit we can survey onstudents from other universities in different provinces, so the study results will be morerepresentative and instructive.
Secondly, it is sensible to use more variety of methods in the future research such asobservations, dialogue journals, think-aloud, and so on, other than mere questionnaire surveyand interview.
Thirdly, the research content can be expanded, that is, every scale of classroomenvironment can be discussed to improve college English classroom environment.
