Conclusion


This research finds a new direction to the reformation of the English teaching inSVS. It pours new energy into the English teaching in vocational schools and bringssome new consideration.This research will benefit the students in a very long run. Individualized learningwill be an efficient way to deal with the foreign language learning and other specialtylearning. Collaborative learning can develop team-building skills they will need laterin their lives. The open environment in the Internet and appropriate materialsobtaining bring them some new learning notion.
This research has some implications to English language teachers. They need tolearn to use technology-based systems by themselves before they lead their studentsinto this wonderland. Moreover, electronic technology is developing rapidly. As thedisseminators of knowledge and culture, teachers ought to be a life-long learner andresearcher for the new teaching methods, and should try their best to cultivate thetalents from the SVS that will adapt to the life of modern society and do greatcontributions to the society.Finally, this research aims at the students' feelings and experience but it does notmake deep research of the detail design of tasks and collaborative learning activities.The assessment on MCALL also is worth studying for modifying and developing theteaching effectiveness. The latter research is also an interesting one. With the rapiddevelopment of multimedia technology, there will be many new opportunities andchallenging in foreign language teaching and learning.
