摘要:学生的自我效能感适中,且有性别差异自我效能感的高分组和低分组的学生也有差异。学生的自我效能的变化,表明自我效能感与英语写作英语写作分数与分数呈正相关。

1.1 Research background研究背景
在中国,英语是一门重要的必修课程,高中学生。众所周知,在英语学习中,写作被视为的四项基本能力的最为重要的能力之一~听,说,读,写In China, English is an important compulsory course for senior high schoolstudents. As well known, in English learning, writing is regarded as one of the mostimportant abilities of the four basic abilities~listening, speaking, reading and writing.Nowadays, English writing has become more and more important. Especially, writing isbecoming more and more important in NMET^ in Chinese senior high school. Thescore for writing is 25 points in the English test labeled as National I English test, andthe score for writing is 30 points in the English test for Shaanxi Province. Comparedwith the total scores of MMET (150 points), writing occupies one third of the totalscores of NMET.https://www.51lunwen.org/guidelines/ Therefore, it is seen that writing is more and more indispensable inNMET. However, English writing is an area of weakness for Chinese senior high schoolstudents when learning English. Though more and more people have realized theimportance of English writing,the English writing instruction is not satisfactory inreality. Students' English writing ability is poor and their English writing achievementsare not so good.In fact,the improvement of students' English writing achievements is influencedby many factors, such as students' English level,cognitive factors and affective factorsetc. The researches have showed that though some students hold writing capability, it isdifficult for them to obtain high marks in English writing test. Mcleod (1987) holds thatwriting is a cognitive activity as well as an affective activity. Therefore, individual'semotions will affect learner's writing process. For Bandura (1986), people have aself-system and it makes people exert some control on their thinking, emotions,motivation as well as their behaviors etc. Consequently,the beliefs people have abouttheir abilities to accomplish something can better predicate their behaviors. Actually,such beliefs are called self-efficacy beliefs. According to Bandura (1997),self-efficacyis individual's belief in his or her ability to implement a series of actions which areneeded for reaching the expected performance. And it is related with the expectation ofwhat one can obtain with the skills one has rather than with the skills one owns(Bandura 1986). Besides, a person's thinking mode and emotional response are affectedby self-efficacy. Therefore,self-efficacy is a vital factor for improving students' Englishwriting achievements.Many scholars have studied self-efficacy in writing abroad and at home. Bandurabelieves that self-efficacy is domain-specific. McCarthy (1985) and Bizzell(1986)reveal that self-efficacy exercises effect on learners' writing achievements, whichindicates that people who have high sense of self-efficacy may have better writingperformance. Domain-specific self-efficacy is a strong predictor of students' writingperformance (Klassen & Georgiou 2008).
