ss on March 23rd, 1995, there were 1.4 billion people living in countries where English is the official language and the number of native speakers putting English as a mother tongue or close to was in between 1.2 billion and 1.5 billion. In consequence, the globalization of English is an indisputable fact. However, the rapid internationalization of the English inevitably leads to the English nativization widely, and this is at the cost of standard British English or American English. Since the 1970s, the studies of the world English and acculturation have become an important issue in the field of the international linguistics. As a variant in China, Chinglish is gradually drawing public attention.
