fic eco-environmental factors in the c onference interpreting spot and interpreters’ reaction and respond to these factors, it is expected to have a m ore three-dimensional, comprehensive and objective view of t he process of interpreting practice. Specifically, there are two main objectives of the study.Firstly , since Professor Hu Gengshen has elaborately discussed and explained the eco-environmental factors in translation activities, the thesis attempts to specific eco-environmental factors faced by interpreters in UNGA conference spot. The second is to have a three-dimensional view of the pr ocess of interpreting practice in the UNGA eco-environment and try to understand interpreters’ adaptive selection for the interpretation with the highes t level of integrated adaptive selection from the perspective of Eco-translatology.

Chapter Two Literature Review
Eco-translatology originates in China and is a completely original translation theory, so domestic research findings are far m ore than overseas ones. Since this theory was proposed nearly 15 years ago, it has been at tracting much attention of scholars and experts and they have conducted researches and wrote a number of papers, reports and publication. The study about Eco- translatology could be divided into tw o categories: review and evaluation of this theory and application of it on practical problems, most of which are about translation instead of interpretation.
