The fourth chapter is the analysis of statistical data,which indicates the specificchapters,the information of interlocutors,the resonance degree calculated,thepurpose of the discourse and the results achieved.This chapter starts from the statistical data from multiple angles,analyzes the proportion of each item,the averagevalue of resonance degree and the degree of dispersion,compares the statisticalresults of each item horizontally,and analyzes the internal relationship between eachitem.

Chapter TwoAN OVERVIEW OF PREVIOUS STUDIES

2.1 Development of Dialogic Syntax in Foreign Studies

Du Bois published a series of studies on dialogic syntax in the third issue ofcognitive linguistics in 2014 based on the syntactic research results from theperspective of discourse,and formally proposed dialogic syntax.Dialogic syntaxreveals the discourse generation mechanism of'constructing language with language'in discourse,and opens a new chapter in the study of language cognition function.This theory challenges the traditional linear syntactic analysis model,extends thecognitive analysis of natural language single sentence level to the study of structuralrelations between utterances,and broadens the scope of syntactic cognitive research.The analysis of dialogic structure by dialogic syntax reveals the cognitive cooperationof speakers at the syntactic level,and introduces a new research paradigm for dialogicmeaning inference.Dialogic syntax takes the discourse in the form of discourse as theobject of analysis and aims to analyze the structural relationship between independentutterances in discourse.Compared with the traditional linear syntactic analysis mode,dialogic syntax points out a new syntactic phenomenon,that is,when one utteranceaccompanies another utterance,the configuration of the language is partially repeated,forming a mapping structure,generating pairing perception,and then form andmeaning resonance in speech events.The speaker conducts meaning reasoning,viewpoint evaluation and stance stanceing based on dialogic resonance,which meansthat the understanding of discourse requires dialogic engagement.Monologuediscourse can not fully represent the meaning and function of discourse,and discourse exists in discourse.The understanding of discourse must be based on the affinities ofdiscourse and the interaction between discourse,speaker and time and space.Du Boisdescribed dialogic syntax as follows:It takes language to make language.The patternsthat define language emerge from the interaction of particulars,as one utterancefollows another,reproducing its pattern in part.The resulting parallelism invites aperception of pairing,generating something new in the event:a specific resonance offorms and meanings.This is the phenomenon of dialogic syntax.

2.2 Application of Dialogic Resonance in Foreign Studies
