1. The meaning of e-business
  National Institute of Standards and Technology defined e-business as that other form of data or trading derive from EDI (electric data interchange). Moreover they define that content of e-business include:
1. organization’s internal communication network
2. software, hardware and services
3. standards of business trading and information interchange
4. regulation of security
5. suitable strategy of management and culture
Kalakota and Whinston (1996) considered e-business as that e-business is the buying and selling of goods and services on the Internet, especially the world wide web. The drivers of e-business are reducing the cost, improving the quality of products and services and enhancing the effective of organization. Base on different view point such as communication, business process, service and online operation, the definition of e-business may different:
Communication: providing product, service, and information and making payment through the Internet or telephone.

Service: a tool which help organization to meet the requirement of customers, management and organization such as reducing cost, improving quality of product and service and increase the speed of responding.
Online operation: providing function of buying and selling goods, services and information on the Internet.
Stahl and Whinston (1997) defined e-business wildly as that using electric and technology to do business activities, it include:
Interaction within internal organization
Interaction among different organizations
Interaction between organization and customers
Kosiur (1997) thought that e-business will bring both short-term and long-term benefit for an organization. He deemed that there are different meanings of e-business in different stage. In the early stage of e-business development, the e-business was been as transaction information, goods and services etc through network. And the aim of e-business was reducing cost. Today e-business has become a very important part of business strategy. The aims of e-business are improving the efficiency of organization, providing unique value to customers etc. therefore organizations can gain competitive advantage through adopting e-business.
2. Classes of e-business
  American president Clinton published The Framework of Electronic Commerce. In this framework, he pointed out that e-business include three types:
1. Business to business: it is that the organization use information technology and computer network to do business activities between organization and organization. For instance, EDI (electronic data interchange), ECR (Efficient Customer Response) and E-form. It focus on integration of organizational value chain.
2. Business to customers: it is that the organizations provide products or services through the Internet. For instance online shop, online game, database searching and advertising etc.
3. customers to customers: the typical model is online auction such as e-bay, Taobao etc. In recent years some of new forms appeared such as Blog, You-tube etc that all can be classified into this type.https://www.51lunwen.org/literaturereviewsample/
