Chapter I: Introduction 介绍
China is a country that is largely characterized by a booming economy and it has
emerged as the second largest economy in the world. This country achieved an economic growth
of at least 10% on an annual basis (Luckerson 2014, p. 78). This figure has caused many
international and foreign companies to salivate at the slightest chance of tapping into this rich
Chinese market. The business culture of China is different from other parts of the world because
it thrives at a very high level (Hempel 2012, p. 106; Vericat 2010, p. 183). Among many
businesses, internet is one of fastest growing industries. Fig.1 depicts the Internet users in China
from 2000-2010 (Google+China, 2015). From this chart we can see, the internet users have
grown 10 times within ten years and the users in 2010 is over 400 million.
