4. Results and Discussion 

4.1 The Text Types in the Data 
In the second chapter of this study, have discussed about the features of narration, description,expository writing and argumentation. And through the analysis of 96 reading comprehension in NMET national volume I and national volume II of the year from 2007 to 2016 found that these four text types are all exist. Among these 96 texts, there are 30 narrations, 15 descriptions, 27 expositions and 24 argumentation. From the results of the analysis, Table 4.1 will show the result of both distribution and proportion of these four kinds of text type. Chart 4.1 can easily see the proportion of each text type. The  first  paragraph  in  the  text  refers  to  “the  outstanding  ladies listed below”, the following four parts are individually narrate an outstanding lady, they are  Jane  Addams,  Rachel  Carson,  Sandra  Day  O’Connor  and  Rosa  Parks.  Jane  Addams devotee herself into social work, in 1931, she became the first American woman to win the  Nobel  Peace  Prize.  Rachel  Carson  raised  awareness  of  the  dangers  of  pollution  and the  harmful  effects  of  chemicals  on  humans  and  lakes  and  oceans,  she  improved  the environmental movement.
