摘要:本文是一篇小学英语教学论文,本研究调查了上海市小学牛津英语教材二次开发中存在的问题,分析了其影响因素,并从单元整合的角度提出了可行的教材二次开发方法。
Later, a student of Dewey, William Heard Kilpatrick, did in-depth research and then proposed a design teaching method, which was also called the unit teaching method. Yi (2013) mentioned that a unit instructional method, from Kilpatrick’s point of view, highlighted the need to take students’ cognitive and psychological characteristics into account while defining teaching units and organizing teaching activities in order for students to grasp knowledge and skills. “Morrison’s unit teaching method” proposed by Morrison in the 1930s, states three points in teaching: inducing and recombining teaching contents while teaching; dividing teaching contents into several parts according to their interconnectedness; and arranging teaching content orderly while implementing unit instruction (Ling 1985: 41).

4.1 Analysis of the Questionnaire
1. Reliability analysis of the questionnaire
Before analyzing the data collected from the questionnaires with the SPSS 21.0, the reliability of the questionnaire is tested. It is commonly recognized that a questionnaire is reliable if the value of Cronbach’s Alpha is higher than 0.700. As shown in Table 4-1, the value of Cronbach’s alpha is 0.922, higher than 0.700, which means the questionnaire is reliable.

5.1 Major Findings
This research has investigated the problems of redeveloping textbooks of Oxford English for primary schools in Shanghai, analyzed their influencing factors accordingly, and figured out the feasible methods of textbook redevelopment from the perspective of unit integration. The major findings are presented as follows.
