It’s an activity full of fun. Visitors to bird watching area have close access to the birds on the island. They can enjoy the nature and various kinds of birds.
Although, Qinghai Lake bird watching has only ten years of history, its unique resources and the scenery attract many visitors. The popularity increased unceasingly. Bird watching activity has brought substantial 英语论文格式范文economic benefits to the local people. For example, in the short 7 days, there are 17,566 people coming to Qinghai Lake to watch birds at golden week of 2008. The income is 2,120,000, and ticket income is 1,560,000. This indicates that Qinghai Lake Bird Watching has a broad prospect for development.
Frankly speaking, bird watching activity may have negative influence on birds on reserve, especially when visitors have unsuitable behaviors on the area. According to the on-spot research, this paper makes an analysis of the bird situation on the Qinghai Lake Bird Island, the visitors’ satisfaction degree as well as their motivations and the island’s management status. Interview with the staff on the island and questionnaire with the visitors are done. All these let us have an insight into the current running situation of this bird island. At the end, suggestions for improvement are given out. 

Chapter 1 Introduction
1.1 literature review
1.1.1 Bird traveling research method observes the bird traveling away from home or uses other discipline research techniques. Data collection is not complex, but the data collection processing and the analysis are quite complex. This needs the economic, the anthropological and the ecological research techniques. Model analysis needs to use the economic model to solve. For example IMPLAN (A regional input-output model). Gurner prestige (Genevieve) using this model analysis method to analysis certain kind of economic activity and the computation view of bird traveling which brings to the locality increases with the employment opportunity. The condition value analysis method (Contingent valuation methods) is called CVM. it investigates bird tourist in the view of bird watching activity as well as the expense and meanwhile accounts for their gross wages. CVM carries on the questionnaire survey to different visitors. It is the analysis that estimates the traveling destination price range which the tourists accept.
