Analyzing the cultural symbol guided by the postcolonial perspective,takingForster’s famous novel A Passage to India as a case,this thesis focuses on thecolonized Indian subjectivity’s construction by resisting the British colonization,explores how dose British hegemony lose in the process of culture communicationbetween Britain and India.In addition,this thesis interprets possibility of integrationbetween the British and the Indian as well.
