4.3 Predict the Future of IHG
The first international luxury hotel brand of the world, InterContinental Hotels and Resorts in the Asia-Pacific region has experienced unprecedented development, in the next three years there would be more than 30 new Intercontinental Hotels opening. The opening of the Intercontinental Hanoi West Lake Hotel was the marks for IHG to enter the Vietnamese market. Only in china, IHG plans to double the number of the hotels, from present 9 to 24, in other Asia-Pacific markets, such as Ho Chi Minh City, New Delhi and Queenstown, IHG will also continue its expanding plans. In the future 3 years, IHG plans to open 11 new Holiday Inn express in Danang, Penang, Huizhou and Okinawa, as well as the established place of business, such as Bali, Beijing and Fiji. Intercontinental hotels and resorts make our guests get more inspiration from the place they visit (King, 2009).

IHG Asia-Pacific sales and marketing senior vice president Gary Rosen said: IHG will be expanding to other Asia-Pacific region 30, which makes us very exciting. So we can see a bright future of IHG, no matter the hotel and the resort (King, 2009).


5.0 Conclusion


In conclusion, there are many accommodation types at present; each type has its advantage and disadvantage, if the hotel who wants to keep them in smooth situation must retain the advantages and overcome the disadvantage.
