“Currency hedging adds firm market value”
You are expected to write an essay or a report (Max 1,500 words) that provides your arguments regarding the statement, presents the evidence (such as academic research or specific company cases) and discusses strategies that Multinational Corporations (MNCs) should manage their currency exposure.
Assessment
The coursework will be worth 30% of the total marks available for the module. You should elaborate on some aspects of the lecture materials, draw on academic research or use materials from the financial media. Marks would be awarded for the rigour of the analysis and the practicality of your recommendations. Within the coursework, the discussions of MNCs strategies account for 15% of the marks while the rest will be worth 15%. Therefore, you should balance the structure of your work accordingly. In addition, although figures and tables are not counted toward the word limit, you should present only relevant supporting materials, otherwise your work might be perceived as of lower quality.
